Overview
We are looking for someone who wants to become an important part of Way Forward as the company grows. This person will work closely with the founder and gradually take ownership of the day-to-day store experience and operations. This is more than a traditional retail position: we are looking for someone entrepreneurial, responsible, creative and resourceful who can become a trusted right hand within the business.
Responsibilities
Manage the store and deliver a highly personal client experience
Drive sales and build relationships with clients
Operate Shopify POS and handle daily store transactions
Execute hand and/or machine embroidery and customization
Manage custom orders and client follow-ups
Maintain inventory, organization and product flow
Oversee visual merchandising and store presentation
Help coordinate new products, launches, events and special projects
Support social media and content capture during everyday store activity
Work directly with the founder on evolving business needs
Ideal Candidate
Warm, confident, highly responsible, organized, proactive and comfortable taking ownership. Must enjoy working with people and selling while also being hands-on and creative. Embroidery experience is a major priority. Retail, Shopify POS, fashion, visual merchandising, social media or small-business operations experience is a plus. We especially value someone looking to grow with Way Forward and take on increasing responsibility.
